Shaw and Partners appoints Head of Corporate Finance

Shaw and Partners has appointed Geoff Carrick as head of corporate finance, effective 29 March 2016.

Carrick joins Shaw and Partners from CBA Institutional Equities, where he was head of equity capital markets. Previously, he was MD of equity capital markets at RBS Australia and before that spent more than 15 years as division director, equity capital markets at Macquarie Capital.

Commenting on the appointment, Shaw and Partners' chair Paul Masi said: "Geoff brings a skill set and corporate network that will complement the significant growth the company has achieved in its Wealth Management and Institutional businesses during the past 12 months and we look forward to the continued success of our Corporate Finance business under Geoff's stewardship."
