Senior Investment Analyst joins Cbus

Cbus, the $34 billion super fund for the construction, building and allied industries, has appointed Anna Weickart as a senior investment analyst, based in Sydney. In this new role, within the public markets team, she will oversee international and Australian equity manager research as Cbus continues to expand its in-house investment capability.

Weickart has 19 years' manager research experience, most recently with Willis Towers Watson in Australia and Germany.

Cbus has also announced two other key investment strategy appointments, with Linda Cunningham joining the public markets team as manager of debt, and Alex Miller joining the private markets team as an infrastructure transaction specialist.

Commenting on the appointments, Kristian Fok, Cbus' executive manager, investment strategy said: "We are so pleased to welcome Linda, Anna and Alex, bringing their depth of experience and talent to the team. We're looking to appoint a significant number of new roles in the next few months as we go through our capability building stage. Continuing to attract people of this calibre this will put us in a great position for future growth."
