Senior Equity Analyst departs Macquarie for role at APSEC
Atlantic Pacific Securities (APSEC) has announced the appointment of Tim Montague-Jones to the firm's analyst team, as head of Australian equity research, effective 1 December 2016.
In his new role, he will be in charge of spearheading the APSEC analyst team and providing clients and traders with insights into the latest market news and macroeconomic trends.
He joins from Macquarie Group where he was a senior equity analyst.
Montague-Jones has over 20 years' investment management experience working in the financial markets. His previous experience includes a 10-year stint at Morningstar as a senior equity analyst and portfolio manager and as a founding member of their investment committee.
Commenting on the appointment, Atlantic Pacific Securities CEO, Anthony D'Paul said: "Tim is an exceptional addition to the analyst team and we will benefit from his wealth of experience in research as well as leadership qualities.
