Senior Analyst joins First State Super's growth team

First State Super has confirmed to Industry Moves the recent integration of Jo Cornwell into its investment team as a senior investment analyst. This follows the $84 billion fund's 2016 acquisition of financial planning firm, StatePlus.

In her new role at First State Super, Cornwell works within the fund's growth team.

Previously, she was an investment specialist with StatePlus, a role she held from February 2011.

Prior to this, she spent six and half years as an associate with Mercer Investment Consulting based in London.

At First State Super, she is joined by four former StatePlus employees: Jennifer Cowan, Mark Vrkic and Jason Jin, who all join as senior investment analysts, and Andrew Schiling, who joins as an investment analyst, plus one new hire, Dr Shang Wu.
