Scarfo leaves HostPlus

Hostplus senior risk manager, Angela Scarfo, has left the superannuation fund after three years at first Statewide Super and then HostPlus after the acquired Statewide. Previously she was at Peregrine Corporation and Minter Ellison.

In a post on LinkedIn, Scarfo said she was grateful to have been part of such a progressive, fast-paced, exciting, innovative and challenging organisation.

"I have learnt and grown so much - particularly being brand new to the industry. This forced me to practice curiosity (and question, question, question!), forge relationships with the business (the best thing I did), and constantly strive to know more every single day," she said.

"I must say, it really helped having an incredible team around me with such diverse skillsets to complement one another, learn from one another and to challenge one another. The talent within the team has been mind blowing and cannot be underestimated."
