IOOF and chief risk officer Amanda Noble have mutually agreed to part ways.

In a statement to Financial Standard, a spokesperson for IOOF said that "Ms Noble and IOOF agreed that now was the right time to secure someone to steer us through the next phase of our governance uplift."

IOOF expects to complete its senior management review, announced in June by its new CEO, Renato Mota, next month.

Noble was confirmed to the position in July after holding it in an interim capacity since May. She has more than 25 years' experience in financial services and wealth management risk and compliance, holding senior executive roles at Westpac, ANZ, National Australia Bank and KPMG.

The previous group chief risk officer, Ian Lancaster, went to ESSSuper in June of this year after being in the CRO position for less than two years.
