Retired Macquarie COO joins board of VaultID

Neil Roderick has joined the board of VaultID, a company that focuses on verifying the identity of users for online financial transactions like e-banking.

VaultID CEO, Jason Edwards, said they are excited to have Roderick's experience in operations, technology, and business development on their board. "Neil is a visionary innovator in the financial services industry, with a track record of commercial success in matching technology, processes and the market, as well as intimate industry knowledge with comprehensive connections; we are very fortunate to have someone of this calibre on our Advisory Board."

Roderick spent more than 15 years with Macquarie Bank, including COO of the banking and financial services group. He retired from the role in 2014. During his tenure, Roderick also looked after the adviser services division and founded Macquarie's life insurance business.

He has significant experience in pushing financial institutions into uncharted territory. With HSBC, Roderick helped establish the company's Australian corporate electronic banking service.
