Industry fund Rest Super has promoted its head of operations to a more senior role focusing sharply on its 1.9 million members.
Corrine Henville, who joined the super fund from AMP Capital almost three years ago, is now general manager of member services.
The super fund for retail employees said general managers report directly to the chief executives in the leadership team.
Accordingly, Henville will report to Rest's chief service officer Brendan Daly- she's now part of his leadership team.
As head of operations, Henville looked after many of Rest Super's functions, including member services and organisational partnerships.
Earlier at AMP Capital, she spent her final two years as head of global client service and enablement.
Further, before her seven years with AMP Capital, Henville spent nearly nine years with Colonial First State.
Her most recent position there was as executive manager of operational risk.
Here she led a team of risk specialists within client operations.
Daly said Rest is committed to simplifying the superannuation experience for members so it's easier for them to engage with their accounts and achieve better retirement outcomes.
As part of building on these capabilities to further simplify and enhance its service, Rest has tasked Henville with leading the member services team working closely with key suppliers Link and Concentrix.
"Corrine is an experienced industry professional who has already made a valuable contribution in her time with Rest," he said.
"She has a wealth of expertise in driving continuous improvement and simplified member services."
