Rest promotes Madden to fill governance role

Rest has promoted David Madden to general manager for administration solutions and governance, the role made vacant by the departure of Kieran Varcoe.

Commenting on the appointment, Rest group executive of product and operations Brendan Daly said, "David Madden has been appointed as the General Manager, Administration Solutions & Governance, after previously holding the position of Head of Operations. David has a wealth of experience in superannuation administration and operations, and he will be known to many in the industry, so his appointment is testament to the depth of talent we have at Rest."

Madden joined the industry fund late last year as head of operations. He previously spent several years with icare NSW leading the claims migration program and held senior operations roles with ANZ, ING, and Citigroup Australia.
