REST Industry Super (REST) has announced the promotion of Deborah Potts to the newly-created role of head of advice and education, effective immediately.
Potts joined REST in October 2014 as a consultant and in November 2015 she was appointed to her most recent role as national manager advice.
Before joining REST, Potts worked at BT Financial Group as executive to the CEO, was the head of Magnitude (part of BT and the broader Westpac Group) managing one of the largest dealerships in Australia, and led the distribution strategy at NRMA and AMP Corporate Super. She also held the role of head of partnering and advice strategy at IPAC.
In her new role with REST, Potts will lead the member solutions, advice delivery and education delivery teams.
REST has also announced the appointment of Matt Russell to the newly-created role of head of employer engagement, effective 27 March 2017.
Commenting on both appointments, REST's general manager, strategic relations, Craig Hobart, said: "These new roles are instrumental in driving the continuing evolution of our relationship capability, customer experience and service delivery. We're delighted to welcome Matt to the team and to see Deb step into this new role."
