REST GM Investments steps down

REST Industry Super has confirmed the resignation of general manager investments Ronan Walsh.

A spokesperson for the $37 billion industry fund said: "The General Manager Investments role forms an integral part of REST's executive team and we will be recruiting for this role."

In a statement from the fund, REST chief executive officer Damian Hill said he regretted Ronan's departure and acknowledged the significant contribution Ronan had provided to the REST Executive and Investment teams after joining REST six months ago.

"We wish Ronan well in his future endeavours," he said.
