REST Industry Super has confirmed to Industry Moves the departure of long-serving employee representative, Geoffrey Williams, effective 30 September 2017.
Williams first joined the $45 billion* industry fund board in July 2008. Prior to this he served as an alternative director for 20 years.
Williams has 40 years' experience in financial services, in the areas of superannuation, administration, financial control, dispute resolution, arbitration and industrial resolutions, including 20 years as the CEO of the Shop Assistants and Warehouse Employees Federation of Australia.
His successor at REST is Michael Tehan, effective 1 October 2017.
