REST appoints GM Strategic Relations

REST Industry Super has appointed Craig Hobart as general manager strategic relations, reporting to chief operating officer Andrew Howard.

Commenting on the appointment, Howard said: "This is an exciting time of growth and development for REST and bringing on board an executive of Craig's standing, with his depth of experience in sales and marketing for funds management will only help accelerate this."

Hobart has 25 years' experience in financial services. He joins REST from Baycorp where he held the role of general manager Australia from 2013. Prior to that he was chief executive officer of Yourshare Financial Services and held a range of positions at Tyndall AM from 2007 to 2012 including managing director.
