Regal Funds Management has confirmed the appointment of Brendan O'Connor to the newly-created role of chief executive officer, effective 5 December 2016.
O'Connor has experience in markets and funds management, most recently as CFO of funds management at Challenger Limited.
Regal Funds Management's COO, Stephen Baldwin, will work with O'Connor over the next few months to assist the transition before stepping back to pursue other interests.
