QIC rebrands multi-asset investments division

QIC has rebranded their global multi-asset division, now known as state investments, focused on the manager's government-related interests.

According to an article in Financial Standard, managing director Jim Christensen has been appointed state chief investment officer for QIC state investments.

Christensen re-joined QIC in January of 2016 after spending five years as the CIO of Telstra Super. He'd spent more than 12 years with QIC as MD of the active management division.

In his new role, Christensen will formulate and implement the division's business and investment strategies, while also leading the development of new products.
