QIC has promoted its GM of research and product innovation, Katrina King, to the role of general manager of capital solutions.
In her new role, King will look after the RFP and corporate information team as well as capital structuring and capital execution teams.
A spokesperson for the organisation says it's all about strengthening QIC's focus on being client-led.
King, who has spent more than 14 years with QIC in a variety of roles, was recently on secondment to the Queensland Treasury, assisting the QLD government's COVID recovery efforts. She joined the organisation in 2005 as a credit analyst. She was promoted in 2011 to be the head of macro research and strategy.
Before joining QIC, King spent more than 11 years with JPMorgan.
