After just one year, QIC has promoted Elizabeth O'Callaghan to ESG strategy manager overseeing the implementation, measurement, and reporting of its ESG strategy.
The Queensland government investor confirmed O'Callaghan's earlier role as an ESG strategist now includes managerial responsibilities.
She took a break from QIC a few years back, moving from QIC Global Real Estate to WSP, where she was a senior sustainability consultant.
Commenting on the appointment, a spokesperson said: "Rowan Griffin, who joined QIC as executive director of ESG in October, is building out our ESG capability to meet the growing demand and expectations of our clients."
The fund has three full-time ESG people in its central ESG team. Additionally, 12 ESG leads work across the investment teams.
