Claire Blake has been promoted to the newly created role of chief financial and operating officer at QIC.
Previously, Blake served as the fund's chief financial officer, a role she has held for almost 12 years.
In the new role, the company veteran will oversee a range of QIC's corporate and operational functions, including finance, operations and technology, HR, legal, regulatory affairs and compliance.
She will also oversee ESG.
Kylie Rampa, chief executive of the Queensland Investment Corporation said: "A number of corporate functions that support QIC's operations will report to Claire to better coordinate delivery of QIC's corporate services."
Before leading QIC's finance team, Blake worked in several finance roles, including group financial controller.
She has been with QIC for 30 years, joining as an assistant accountant in 1992.
