QIC appoints senior Senior Portfolio Manager, FX

QIC has announced the appointment of Stuart Simmons as senior portfolio manager, FX, to lead the currency management and implementation process in its Global Liquid Strategies team (GLS). Simmons, who has been an FX professional for 15 years, was previously managing director and head of execution at Principal Global Investors (London) where his role encompassed portfolio management, trading, portfolio construction and risk management functions. Most recently he was a director in FX Sales at ANZ (London). In the new role at QIC, he will report to Scott Rissman, director, liability-driven and overlay solutions.
