Praemium appoints Head of Investment Managers & Governance

Listed platform provider, Praemium, has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of Damian Cilmi to the newly-created role of head of investment managers and governance.

In this role, commencing 3 September 2018, Cilmi will report to Mat Walker, head of product and marketing, and be responsible for investment managers and governance for the firm's SMA products.

Cilmi joins Praemium from Netwealth where, for the past two years, as a senior investment analyst, he has worked within the firm's investment management and research team with a focus on Netwealth's funds and managed account service.

Prior to joining Netwealth, Cilmi was a senior research manager at Bendigo Bank and headed up dealer group research and model portfolio construction for Bendigo Financial Planning.

Commenting on his appointment at Praemium, Walker said: "Praemium's managed account offering is growing rapidly under increasing demand from advisers. We are delighted to have Damian join us to help drive forward our SMA offering."
