Portfolio Manager to join BTIM team

BT Investment Management (BTIM), has announced the appointment of Amy Xie Patrick as a portfolio manager for the firm, with a focus on emerging markets, effective towards the end of February 2017.

Xie Patrick brings 12 years' market experience to the role, having previously worked at F&C Asset Management in London where she ran the High Income Bond Fund. Prior to F&C, she worked at Thames River Capital and Citigroup Global Markets.

BTIM has also announced that Tim Hext will join the team as a portfolio manager in late February 2017.

Commenting on both appointments, BT Investment Management's head of income & fixed interest, Vimal Gor, said: "Sustained growth of our funds under management and strong client demand for our products have driven our decision to expand the team. I am delighted to welcome to the team two highly experienced professionals who will help us continue to focus on delivering superior outcomes for our clients."
