As part of a major reshuffle of it's management team, ANZ has announced the departure of deputy chief executive institutional and international banking, Gilles Plante, after 19 years with the bank.
Gilles joined ANZ in 1997 after 10 years of financial markets experience in Paris, Tokyo, New York and Singapore; predominantly with Credit Suisse. He has held a number of senior roles at ANZ over the years including most recently as CEO Asia Pacific.
Commenting on Plante's departure, ANZ chief executive officer Shayne Elliott said: "Gilles has mad an important contribution to ANZ in a range of senior executive roles since he joined us in 1997. I thank him for his service and wish him every success in his future career."
