Pinnacle boutique names Deputy Managing Director

Firetrail Investments, a newly-launched affiliate boutique fund of Pinnacle Investment Management, has confirmed details of its investment team to Industry Moves.

Firetrail co-founder Blake Henricks is the boutique's deputy managing director and also works as a portfolio manager for the Firetrail Australian High Conviction Fund.

Henricks, who has over 14 years' experience investing in equity markets, was previously a portfolio manager for Macquarie Group, a role he held for over 12 years, departing in November 2018. Before this, he held roles with Commonwealth Bank and PwC.

At Firetrail he is joined by fellow co-founder, Patrick Hodgens, who will take on the role of managing director. Henricks and Hodgens have previously worked together for a decade on the Macquarie High Conviction Fund.

Rounding out the Firetrail investment team are analysts Scott Olsson, Ramoun Lazar and Eleanor Swanson, portfolio managers James Miller and Matthew Fist and head of risk and analytics, Justin Gray.
