PIMCO appoints Asia Pacfic head

PIMCO has appointed former global head of PIMCO Advisory, Eric Mogelof, as its new head of Asia Pacific.

Mogelof will report to PIMCO MD & CEO, Douglas Hodge, and will be responsible for the firm's business in the Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo offices. He will continue to serve as a member of PIMCO's executive committee.

Commenting on the role, Hodge said: "Eric's appointment underscores PIMCO's commitment to the Asia Pacific region and our focus on delivering superior investment results and world class service. He will play a key leadership role in the next phase of these ongoing efforts."
