Perpetual has confirmed the appointment of Robert Sajonia as transaction manager, working closely with the fund's transaction management and governance team.

In the new role, Sajonia will help onboard and launch new funds where ASX-listed, diversified financial services company acts as the responsible entity.

Perpetual Corporate Trust division is the leading provider of independent responsible entity services in Australia and acts for over 90 Australian and international investment managers.

Sajonia joins from Colonial First State, where he spent nine years, most recently as manager of investment services. 
There, he was responsible for managing the investment relationships with managers used by Colonial First State.

Early on in his career, Sajonia worked at MLC as a customer service representative.

Perpetual's total assets under management stands $97.9 billion, with $25.3 billion for Perpetual Asset Management Australia and $72.5 billion for Perpetual Asset Management International, including Barrow Hanley.
