Perpetual Private head of multi manager departs

Perpetual Private's investment team has lost its head of multi manager. A spokesperson for the organisation has confirmed that Theo Sofios left earlier this month after more than 17 years.

The spokesperson confirmed his move however declined to say what is happening with the role.

It's unclear what is next for Sofios, who first joined Perpetual in 2003 and has been responsible for external manager investment including research, selection, portfolio construction and finding new opportunities. His previous experience was as a portfolio manager with Optimix Investment Management, ING's multi-manager group.
