Perpetual appoints first APAC MD

Perpetual's new managing director is returning to the company. Matt Allen has been appointed to the newly-created role as managing director for APAC at Perpetual. He will be responsible for the business' growth strategy, focusing on the Perpetual Corporate Trust and Perpetual Private arms of the business covering Singapore, APAC, and Australia.

He will continue to be based in Singapore, where he has been for the last six years.

Allen was a senior sales and relationship management roles for Perpetual Corporate Trust from 2007-2017. He relocated to Singapore in 2014 with Perpetual, and later spent three years with business administration provider TMF, leading a team of more than 40 sales and client management professionals across the region.
