Perpetual Investments appoints GM - Distribution

Perpetual Investments has announced the appointment of Matt Thompson as general manager of distribution, effective 17 October 2016.

Thompson joined Perpetual in early 2012 and has held the role of head of wholesale business for the last three years. His promotion follows the resignation of Dean Winterton, general manager of distribution.

Thompson has 20 years' wealth management experience across some of Australia's largest investment management organisations.

Commenting on his promotion, Perpetual CEO and managing director, Geoff Lloyd, said: "It's always a good experience to announce the internal promotion of high quality leaders and I am pleased to be moving someone of Matt's calibre into this important role."
