Pengana expands distribution and marketing team

Pengana Capital Group has announced the appointment of Brett Guerin to the newly-created role of strategic account manager within the firm's distribution and marketing team.

Guerin joins Pengana from NAB Asset Management, where, according to Pengana he was "responsible for building and increasing sales through new fund additions, and creating and driving the sales strategy for new funds on approved product lists and platforms." Before this, he was an investment specialist at NAB Asset Management and a business development manager at Perpetual Investments.

In his new role, Guerin will be responsible for managing relationships with dealer groups and their associated platforms.

Commenting on his appointment, Damian Crowley, Pengana's director of distribution, said: "We're very pleased to welcome such an experienced funds management distribution professional to our team. Brett has a demonstrated track record of managing strategic relationships and will play a significant role in driving our key account strategy forward."

Guerin will be based in Pengana's Sydney office.
