Pendal hires ex-GAM head of business operations

Former GAM Investments head of business operations David Harris has joined Pendal Group as head of product.

In his new role, Harris has ownership of Pendal's product lifecycle, including development and maintenance. He will report to investment director Dan Campbell.

Harris left GAM in early 2020 after more than two years as head of business operations for the Asia Pacific region. He spent less than a year on a contract with AMP as a senior product consultant. Harris also spent several years with AMP Capital in products and products roles and was a senior product manager at NAB Asset Management where he had responsibility for product development and future market strategies for the organisation's investment portfolio.

Harris commenced with Pendal earlier this month.
