Zarmeen Pavri has left her role as executive director at Pengana Capital - where she was responsible for the firm's strategic projects across operations, risk, portfolio management and marketing - after six and a half years in the role.
Pavri told Greg Bright of Shed Social last week: "I resigned from Pengana so I could apply my 20-plus years of financial services experience into 'making a difference' - i.e. being M.A.D!
"I am pursuing the path of impact investing, SRI/ESG, or anything that focuses on giving back and making a real impact for greater good. Being a passionate M.A.D advocate means I needed to be courageous and walk my talk."
Pavri said she does not have a specific role, as yet, but expects to "resurface" next year in the collaborative capitalism space.
