Paradice appoints PM for Australian mid-cap team

Paradice Investment Management has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of James McBeath to the newly-created role of portfolio manager/analyst in the Australian mid-cap team, effective 1 February 2018.

McBeath was most recently at Northcape Capital, where he had spent the last five years as both a portfolio analyst and portfolio manager. Prior to this, he was an equities research analyst - emerging companies with Bligh Capital and he previously worked as an investment analyst - unlisted infrastructure with Colonial First State Global Asset Management.

In a statement from Paradice, a spokesperson said: "We have been looking for a suitable candidate for some time now who has the right mix of experience, commercial ability and compatibility with the environment at Paradice Investments."

"James offers us this and will be a great addition to the group as he has proven investing skills in the mid cap space and works effectively in a small team environment."
