Omega hires Portfolio Manager

Omega Global Investors (Omega) has announced the appointment of Evelyne Meier to the role of portfolio manager for the firm, effective November 2016.

Meier joins from Vanguard, where she was a senior analyst in the firm's Australian investment strategy area. Prior to that she held a senior quantitative analyst position at Triple 3 Investment Management.

Meier is joined at Omega by Amanda Lin, the firm's new investment research analyst.

Commenting on both appointments, Omega co-founder and director of investments, Mathew McCrum, said: "Evelyne brings strong skills in portfolio construction and management, while Amanda brings welcome skills in performance analytics, factor risk assessment, and research."
