O'Connor departs QIC

QIC managing director of business development Chris O'Connor has departed the institutional investment manager after six years.

A spokesperson for QIC confirmed O'Connor's departure, saying "Chris was a valued member of the QIC team and we wish him all the best for the future."

Before joining QIC, O'Connor was the head of sales for Eze Software's operations in the Asia Pacific region. He started his career as a business development manager with Thompson Reuters in London.

QIC did not indicate plans for replacing O'Connor's role in the organisation.
