Nuveen hires from Janus Henderson
Janus Henderson's local head of consultant relations has landed a similar role to Nuveen although the new position will see him cover Asia Pacific ex-Japan.
Jaxon Rudduck who also served as senior product development manager and research manager at Janus Henderson Investors Australia, has joined Nuveen as part of the US$1.1 trillion asset manager's strategic expansion into Asia Pacific.
In his new role, Rudduck will foster Nuveen's relationships with counterparts at key global investment consulting firms to develop and retain assets for Nuveen's investment strategies.
The recruit brings a wealth of experience to Nuveen. Before his nearly ten years with Janus Henderson, he held key roles at Man Group for seven years mostly recently as product development manager.
Earlier, he did a one-year stint at US broker, Consolidated Trading

"Jaxon's specialist expertise in consultant relations, strategy and distribution provides us with new opportunities to drive positive commercial outcomes at Nuveen and build on the existing valuable relationships we have established in the institutional landscape."
Rudduck echoed those sentiments by saying that his ability to establish key relationships has equipped him well to lead the development of deep partner relationships and build strong organic growth for the business.
