Northern Trust hires APAC lead

Northern Trust has hired a new lead for Asia Pacific, to be based in Australia.

Caroline Higgins will be overseeing services to global investment managers including fund administration, depositary, global custody, transfer agency, investment operations outsourcing and data solutions.

In short, she will be supporting a range of complex investment strategies across the full spectrum of asset classes and leveraging Northern Trust's global capabilities.

Higgins, who joined Northern Trust in 2016, was most recently head of Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.

Before that, she held senior leadership, product and client management positions at Brown Brothers Harriman, State Street, Royal Bank of Canada, UBS and Citibank.

Glaysher noted the continued growth and increasing opportunity to offer our solutions to clients in Asia Pacific.
