NGS Super has appointed Leanne Nunn as a senior strategic partnership manager, hiring from Catholic Super.

In this role, Nunn is responsible for leading the development and implementation of partnerships across the fund as well as facilitating education sessions and seminars for members.

She has over 30 years' experience in financial services in Western Australia, covering everything from relationship and account management to superannuation, mortgage broking and insurance.

Posting on social media, chief growth officer Jo Klinberg said "Welcome to the team Leanne. So happy to have you on board."

Partnerships are front and centre for NGS - the industry fund that covers workers in the independent education sector -  as it sees an opportunity to expand not only in existing schools that it serves but in new schools currently being built.

The $13 billion asset owner predicts a 20 per cent plus jump in membership within four years.

Nunn spent six years at Catholic Super in a relationship management role and a further two at Hostplus.

Before her stint with the two asset owners, she provided a mortgage consulting service for financial planners at AMP Financial Planning for a couple of years and looked after corporate super fund clients for the five years before that.

Leanne is actively involved in advocating for better retirement outcomes for women through her work on the Women in Super Committee.

She is based in the NGS Western Australian office.
