Position: Chief Executive Officer

Soon to be launched boutique super fund, Zuper, has confirmed the appointment of one of its co-founders, Jessica Ellerm, as chief executive officer.

The choice led fund is set to be launched in September this year with a focus on tech-savvy, millennial members.

Ellerm said that the new fund will "allow Australians to self-direct a portion of their super into companies that are building clean energy solutions, advancing health and wellness research and building innovative technologies. Future investment options will be crowd-sourced from members."

Prior to joining Zuper, Ellerm held various roles with Tyro Payments, helping launch their first banking products for small businesses. She has also worked as a business analyst for boutique energy and climate change consultancy Energetics. Ellerm is a fintech commentator, writing for her own blog and a number of global publications. She has also spent time as a broadcast journalist with Finance News Network.

Rounding out the Zuper founding team is ex-R/GA managing director Jon Holloway and advertising and branding executive Eran Thomson. The fund has also appointed behavioural psychologist Kris White as its chief behavioural officer.

Ellerm added: "We want our members to have a more meaningful relationship with what is possibly their biggest asset - their super. And by helping people align their life choices with the way their money is invested, we believe we will bridge the engagement gap the super industry has so far failed at."
