Morningstar Investment Management Australia has announced that current Asia-Pacific chief investment officer (CIO), Andrew Lill, has been appointed as CIO of Morningstar Investment Management, Americas.
In this role, Lill will be based in Chicago and report to Daniel Needham, Morningstar Investment Management Group's president and global CIO.
Commenting on his appointment, Needham said: "We are pleased that Andrew will be joining our Americas team as chief investment officer. Since 2014, Andrew has successfully led the Asia-Pacific investment strategies and teams and we look forward to bringing that expertise and skill to our Americas team."
Lill's successor will be Matt Wacher, who will commence as Asia-Pacific CIO in late January 2019.
