New Research Analyst for Martin Currie

Martin Currie has announced the appointment of Anthony Porto as the firm's research analyst for small and microcap equities. Porto has over 10 years investment experience and was previously at Kinetic Investment Partners where he spent eight years as an analyst/portfolio manager, responsible for industrial stocks. Prior to Kinetic, he spent over two years as an analyst at Credit Suisse Investment Bank.

Porto joined Martin Currie's investment team, which now numbers 17, in October and reports to chief investment officer Reece Birtles.
