New product responsibilities for ETF Securities' Metcalf

ETF Securities Australia's Evan Metcalf has been named the company's new head of product. The move comes out of a restructure of the organisation's management that will see founder and chair Graham Tuckwell take on executive chair duties and the exit of Australian CEO Kris Walesby.

Metcalf joined ETF Securities as co-head of portfolio management in 2017. He previously spent several years with ANZ in equities and as a portfolio manager. He also held roles with Credit-Suisse and Westpac.

Said Tuckwell, "With the Australian ETF industry touching an all-time high of $70 billion in funds under management we believe that there are great opportunities in Australia for the business to accelerate and capitalise on its recent growth. We are committed to the Australian ETF market, excited for its potential and the role we have in making this a reality."
