New member for PIMCO Compliance Committee

Global investment management firm, PIMCO, has announced that it has internalised Responsible Entity (RE) function for its $10+ billion managed funds complex, making it one of the largest RE transitions in Australia's financial services history.

PIMCO has become RE for all 12 funds available to Australian investors. The firm has also established a statutory compliance committee for the governance of the Funds and appointed Christine Feldmanis as one of three new independent members.

Feldmanis is a non-executive director and an independent member of a number of board, audit, risk and compliance committees in financial services and government, with over 30 years' experience in risk and compliance.

Joining her on the board is former Equity Trustees CEO Robin Burns and experienced board member, Penni James.
