New Head of Managed Fund Sales appointed at SSGA
State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) has confirmed to Industry Moves the promotion of Syvanna Croyden to the role of head of managed fund sales in Australia, effective 1 January 2018.
She succeeds Amy Johnston, who is relocating to the firm's Boston office in January 2018 to lead a sales team across the Americas servicing corporates, endowments and foundations.
Croyden, who has 18 years' financial services experience, joined SSGA in August 2015 as sales manager for the QLD and NSW regions. In this, her current role, she has assisted in developing SSGA's fund distribution strategy alongside Johnston. Previously, she held roles at Credit Suisse, CFS, AMP and Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
Commenting on her promotion, SSGA's Asia Pacific head, Lochiel Crafter, said: "Syvanna has a strong understanding of the issues that advisory market participants face, and under her leadership SSGA will continue its distribution of contemporary active strategies and its consultative approach to engaging with clients."
