BlackRock has announced the appointment of Kate McDermott as director and head of Southern region sales within the wealth advisory group. McDermott has over 12 years experience in distribution and joins BlackRock from Aberdeen Asset Management where she was national account manager.
Based in BlackRock's Melbourne office, McDermott will report to head of wealth advisory James Langlands and be responsible for looking after clients in financial advisory businesses in Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania.
