New Director for HESTA

Daniel Sims has been appointed as an employer representative director at HESTA, the $32b industry fund for healthcare workers, effective January 2016.

Sims is currently the chief executive of Ramsay Health Care and has been a board member of The Australian Private Hospital Association (APHA) since 2007. He is currently the vice-president of the APHA and chair of the APHA Policy and Advocacy Task Force, and is also a board member of Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care.

Sims replaces Richard Royle on the HESTA board.
