New Director appointed to Local Government Super board

Local Government Super has announced the appointment of Lindsay Brown as a director on its board, representing Local Government NSW, effective 5 September 2017.

Brown is currently a councillor for Eurobodalla Shire Council and previously served as the shire's mayor for four years (2012-2016). He also holds a number of external board positions, including his role as director and vice-president rural and regional at LGNSW, and director at StateCover Mutual Limited.

According to a statement from the $10 billion super fund, Brown "brings extensive business and local government experience to the LGS Board."

Brown has replaced Jeff Morris who has been a member of the board since April 2015.
