New Deputy CIO at IOOF

IOOF has confirmed the appointment of Stanley Yeo as deputy chief investment officer (CIO), effective 1 July 2017.

Yeo joined IOOF in September 2010 and is currently responsible for the strategy and asset allocation of the diversified products of IOOF's multi-manager funds, and also management of the firm's International equities portfolio. Previous to this, Yeo managed the fixed interest and cash portfolios.

Prior to joining the investment team at IOOF, Yeo was a senior consultant at Russell Investments and has advised on strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction and implementation to large Asian sovereign wealth funds and large corporate superannuation funds. Prior to this, Yeo was an investment analyst at Gartmore Investment based in the UK.

Yeo will work alongside newly-appointed CIO, Dan Farmer, who replaces long-serving CIO Stephen Merlicek, effective 1 July 2017. Farmer currently manages IOOF's Australian equities portfolio.
