Crestone Wealth Management (Crestone) has announced the appointment of Leigh Clifford as chair of its board, effective November 2017.
Clifford has experience in the management of businesses in Australia and internationally, as well as governance experience as a board director in industry, resources and banking. He is currently the chair of Qantas Airways and Bechtel Australia, and is a director of Bechtel Group. Previously, he worked with Rio Tinto, both in Australia and overseas, where he was CEO from 2000 to 2007.
As Crestone chair, Clifford replaces John McDonald who will remain as a non-executive director on the board.
