Bronwyn Morris has been named as the new chair of LGsuper, the $8.5b Queensland superannuation fund for local government employees. Morris joined LGsuper as an independent director in December 2013. With a background that includes directorships with publicly listed, government and not-for-profit sectors, and spanning a range of industries, Morris is currently deputy chair of Children's Health Foundation Queensland and director of RACQ, Collins Foods Limited and Care Australia.

She replaces current independent director and chair, Brian Roebig, who is retiring from the fund after 19 years at the helm.
