New CFO named for Countplus

Countplus has announced the appointment of Laurent Toussaint as its new chief financial officer, effective 22 January 2018.

Toussaint will join from Ambition Group, where he is currently CFO and company secretary, a role he was appointed to in 2015.

Previously, he worked with Deloitte Australia and Deloitte and Touche, South Africa, and as a partner in a five-partner accounting firm.

Toussaint will succeed incumbent, John Collier, who departs Countplus on 2 November 2017 after just over two years in the role.

According to the firm, Geoff Missen, managing director of Countplus member firm, the MBA Partnership, will act as CFO to provide a smooth transition until Toussaint's commencement.
